DUST DMG
DUST DMG is a collection of boom bap drum samples inspired by classic hip hop. Specifically, what some people refer to as hip hop's "golden age" of music production.
Royalty-Free Boom Bap Drum Samples
We did everything we could to record fresh sounds that already have the vibe of classic hip hop recordings.
However, unlike samples you'd get from a vinyl record everything is royalty-free and custom recorded for us. So, your music will stay live on all platforms and not have problems with copyright strikes. Or create legal problems for using samples of other people's music.
If you are a fan of artists like Pete Rock, J Dilla, DJ Premier, Wu Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, or modern hip hop producers like Kaelin Ellis or The Kount you'll have fun with this sound kit.
This collection doesn't use drum machines or synthetic sounds.
Of course, many hip hop producers used them, but for this sample pack we wanted to capture the part of the boom bap sound that uses the dust and crackle you hear on vinyl records with the sonic signature of a certain classic piece of sampler hardware.
