We wanted to make a sample Pack for electronic music, hip hop or both. The keys were something easily playable and flexible enough to work in different genres.
There are a lot drum sample packs out there. But, we wanted a thick, saturated drum kit ready to play. Also we wanted to work in Ableton or drag and drop into any other DAW software.
One of those drum kits you'll use over and over again. Essential if you make hip hop and collect hip hop drum kits, other types of electronic music, or want the vibe of vintage drums to blend with vintage drum machines.
Can be used as one shots or just drag and drop the included drum loops.

How We Made This
We wanted a flexible drum kit that we could use in boom bap style hip hop, as well as more aggressive styles of electronic music.
We got the best sounding old drums we could find.
Then, we found cymbals jazz drummers played on for decades.
We recorded them at different levels through American (API) and British (Neve) preamps to introduce the saturation that give the drums of punch and character in the midrange you normally need to add in the mix later.
But most importantly, they blend well with electronic drums or work as the backbone of a hard hitting beat.
Because there are different sample levels in this pack, you can use our pre-built Ableton drum rack that's playable right out of the box, or create your own custom drum rack. We included everything from very loud to very quiet samples.
